1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Journal Insights, operated by Minotaur Mechanics LLC ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Journal Insights is a personal journaling application that provides AI-powered insights and reflections based on your journal entries. The App allows you to record thoughts via text, voice notes, and photos, and receive personalized feedback and mood tracking.

3. Subscription and Payment

Journal Insights requires a paid subscription to access. Subscription options include weekly, monthly, and annual plans. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all journal entries, photos, and voice recordings you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing AI-powered insights and the services described.

You are responsible for the content you create. Do not use the App to store illegal content or content that violates the rights of others.

5. AI-Generated Insights

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate insights and reflections. These insights are for personal reflection purposes only and should not be considered professional mental health advice, therapy, or medical guidance.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services immediately.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to: attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with the service, or using the App for any unlawful purpose.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. AI-generated insights may not always be accurate or appropriate for your situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Minotaur Mechanics LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

You agree that any arbitration or legal proceedings shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action. You waive your right to participate in any class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Minotaur Mechanics LLC.

13. Apple End User License Agreement

This App is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and conditions of Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

In the event of a conflict between these Terms of Service and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall take precedence with respect to your use of the App as obtained through the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
